Beyond Birthday is scary. Holy crap his final revealing traits and clashing appearance makes a real scary mystery. A newbie who would read this first before attacking the Death Note manga would only be mildly surprised by the killer. However someone like me, coming off from post-Death Note high would definitely feel the full impact of the shock. You brilliant sarcastic book. Damnit it's just mind-boggling.
