Anne's IntermittentroPolis

I prefer to keep my reviews short but I can't guarantee them to be sweet. I don't mind discussing, analyzing, or raving but I'm just an inherently lazy writer/reviewer.

Jane Eyre - Michael Mason, Charlotte Brontë I loved and enjoyed Jane's descriptions and account of her life. To me, her narrative was so entertaining, realistic and vivid. I truly enjoyed this book not just because of the plotline and characters but also the society and setting. Historical England was something I could never have imagined and seen more pictorially than in this novel. Jane was the perfect ideal protagonist, more than just a plain face. This is the first piece of English literature I've read and will remain irrecovably one of the most favorable on my NOOK shelf.
