I prefer to keep my reviews short but I can't guarantee them to be sweet. I don't mind discussing, analyzing, or raving but I'm just an inherently lazy writer/reviewer.

Where She Went - Gayle Forman To me, heartbreak is one of the distant vague notions I've heard all my friends and others experience. There's so much pain and loss both characters went through. Somehow, I can relate to all of this despite my lack of experience and empathize with such people. It's great to know that healing may be slow but eventually possible and fulfilling.
I didn't cry but felt melancholy throughout the story; If I Stay forced a couple stray tears from me but overall this book was better.
