I prefer to keep my reviews short but I can't guarantee them to be sweet. I don't mind discussing, analyzing, or raving but I'm just an inherently lazy writer/reviewer.

The Lost Girl - Sangu Mandanna Okay, here's the thing: I won't read it. I'm so scared to read this book because a couple years before the release of this book, I had the same unnerving idea as [b:The Lost Girl|13062488|The Lost Girl|Sangu Mandanna|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1330091065s/13062488.jpg|18227948]. Well, isn't that a bit frightening? I wanted to, no-- I started writing something about a girl who was born as a carbon copy for an original who would be replaced in death. And soo...the original dies. At 16. The clone comes to substitute and settle into her life. Sounds familiar? I thought so too when I read the synopsis. So no, I don't believe I will read this book and this is a rare case of "It's not you, it's just me". I'm so scared this complete book will be better than my rotting unfinished story.
